Noisy! Every sound from the hall and adjoining rooms could be clearly heard in my room. There appears to be no sound insulation, meaning very little privacy and a "rude" awakening for me on the Sunday morning of my stay when my neighbours decided to have some fun time. Apart from that, clean and nice enough, friendly helpful staff.

Upon arrival, I was welcomed by the friendly receptionist and checked in promptly. My room on the fourth floor was comfortable and well-appointed, with a fridge, a well-stocked hospitality tray and a good selection of bathroom amenities (handy, as it turned out I'd forgotten to bring any toothpaste). I got a good night's sleep and a decent breakfast in the morning, with a good selection of hot and cold items. The hotel is very well located, just around the corner from Temple Meads station and with a bus stop right outside the front door (also very handy, as my onward journey to rural Somerset was by bus).

Stayed for the weekend. It’s close to walk to from the train station and central Bristol. While the decor style is dated, it’s been well maintained. Skirting boards are freshly painted, Brita water dispenser on each floor. Finally, the staff there were absolutely wonderful. Film and Jess in reception were friendly, helpful with every request. Sia, Almu and Alina in the bar and restaurant were helpful with a smile.

Really handy location half way between city and the station. Very dog friendly. Very quiet overnight and comfortable bed. Really great reception team too. The room was a little tired but clean. WiFi was great and we were able to check in early. In fact it has an early check in and decent check out time so all good. Communal areas very pleasant although we didn’t use the bar or eat there due to scheduling. I have only given a nine as there was a weird smell in the room and an even weirder one in the wardrobe .

Lovely hotel and enjoyed our stay. The rooms are lovely, plenty of space. Thought gone into it like plug sockets in important places, bedside and next to vanity mirror. Often overlooked. Good quality toiletries much appreciated. Only comment is that reception staff were cool and not very welcoming although efficient. Would stay again and use novotel again.

Staying here with my wife in May 2025, we booked an executive room for the extra space. Well we were not disappointed. It was a spacious room with a table and space for bags on the floor. Room felt ‘tired’ but was good to use. Shower did leak water into bathroom floor when in use. Good space for toiletries on Bathroom. Service in the hotel was good with staff ready to assist when requested. Overall it was good value and we would go back.

Whilst a little dated and tired, it was perfectly clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely especially with the children. Breakfast was varied and all delicious.

We had a lovely stay - we were right in the town centre and walking distance from everything. Staff were friendly and welcoming. There was a child-friendly area in the hotel reception with an Xbox, football table and tabletop games. We (2 adults, 2 children) had a room with a double bed and a sofa bed. The rooms were basic but spacious and well presented. The breakfast was really nice! There was onsite parking too, which was really handy, even though it was an extra £16. We would definitely stay here again!
